Who we are — and what this page is

Ana Rousseau Photography is the trading name of Rousseau Solutions, LLC, a photography studio in Cape Coral, Florida. These terms cover your use of this website and, together with your session agreement, the booking of photography sessions. By using the site or booking a session, you're agreeing to them. Booking a session

• A booking is confirmed when the $125 retainer is paid — that takes your date off the calendar and holds it just for you. The retainer counts toward your session total.
• The remaining balance is due by your session day, and your gallery is delivered once it's settled.
• Every session is also covered by a short session agreement, signed before you're photographed. If that agreement and this page ever say different things, the session agreement wins.
• Collection details and prices are listed on the pricing page; seasonal minis may carry their own dates, prices and terms, announced with each event.

Rescheduling, weather & cancellations

Life with small children is gloriously unpredictable — Ana knows, she has three. If you need to move your date, tell us as soon as you can and we'll find a new one together; your retainer simply travels with you to the new date. If weather affects an outdoor session, it moves to the next available date at no extra charge. Because the retainer takes a date off a small calendar, it isn't refundable if you cancel outright — but talk to us first: there's almost always a date that works.

And if Ana ever has to cancel — illness, emergency — the choice is yours: first pick of new dates, or a full refund of everything you've paid.

Payments

All card payments run through Stripe's secure hosted checkout — card numbers never touch this website. Prices are in U.S. dollars, and your receipt is emailed automatically. Balance payments are entered from the amount on Ana's invoice; print and album orders are placed and paid inside your private gallery.

Your gallery

Your private online gallery is typically delivered within 2–3 weeks of your session and stays live for twelve months from delivery. Download your favourites early — Ana will remind you before it comes down, and archived galleries can be reopened on request. Galleries are hosted by Pixieset under its own terms.

Your photographs & the print release

Ana Rousseau owns the copyright in every photograph she creates. Your collection includes full-resolution files with a personal print release, so you can print your images anywhere you like, share them with family and friends, and post them on your own social media.

The release is personal: the images may not be sold, used commercially, or entered into contests without written permission — and please share them as delivered, without re-editing. Any use of your images in Ana's portfolio or on social media happens only with the permission set out in your session agreement.

This website & the styling guide

Everything on this site — photographs and words alike — belongs to Ana Rousseau Photography and may not be reproduced without written permission. The styling guide is a free gift to help you plan your own session; signing up adds you to the email list, and every email has a one-click unsubscribe.

The services behind the site

A small set of services run this site, each under its own terms: Acuity Scheduling (bookings), Stripe (payments), Kit (email), Pixieset (client galleries), and Vercel (website hosting). They're chosen with care, but their availability isn't something we can guarantee.

The legal essentials

This website is provided as-is: we work to keep it accurate and available, but can't promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. To the fullest extent the law allows, Rousseau Solutions, LLC's liability in connection with the website is limited to the amount you paid through it; liability for photography services is set out in your session agreement. Nothing on this page limits rights the law says can't be limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the new version will appear on this page with an updated effective date.
